Caring for a loved one is one of the most natural things a human can do. However, organising tens of thousands of people to look after hundreds of thousands of vulnerable, frail and elderly Australians is a totally different undertaking.
Our mission
The Australian Care Economy requires billions in funding, millions of hours of training and significant oversight. Despite best intentions – and the occasional Royal Commission – the struggle to deliver appropriate care efficiently continues. Too often, the human element of care takes a backseat to paperwork.
Zuji is the next step in this journey.
Our mission is simple: Less admin. More care.
We use advanced, phone-based conversational AI specifically designed with, and for, Australian home aged care providers to:
- Offload repetitive tasks: Automate the routine so staff can focus on people.
- Ensure compliance: Streamline regulatory documentation and workflows.
- Support clinical governance: Reduce errors and improve oversight.

Zuji is the flagship product of Argentic Labs, a boutique, for-profit, for-purpose startup taking aim at some of the toughest problems in the care sector.
The company is the culmination of a decade-long conversation between our founders, Dr Paul Nicolarakis and Paul Peterson – seasoned executives with deep experience and expertise across health and aged care, product development, data governance and policy making.
While our founders have worked locally and internationally, in large multinationals and startups, and in the public and private sector, they are most at home in the early stage business.
